Jose (or Dr Romero as you hated me calling you!), I just wanted to say thank you for everything. In some ways you helped shape the course of my life...It was my job with you that made me feel determined to become a forensic psychiatrist and for that I will always be grateful. Your door was always open and you always made time to teach me and answer my endless questions despite being so busy. You spoke so warmly about your family and how proud you were of them. I’m not sure my bank balance has forgiven you for telling me about Bicester village! The world will be a duller place without your humour and personality.
