Karen and I are mostly stunned to silence with the news of Jose-Luis's passing. We always think there will be one more afternoon conversation, visit to the pub, political debate, or pick-up football match, etc. If we had known in those early days as neighbors in Oxford, what an influence Jose-Luis and Cristina would have on our lives, we would be saying to ourselves over and over, cherish each moment.
